KUCHING: The State Legislative Assembly (DUN) today observed a moment of silence in honour of the late Datuk Seri Bo Tajang Laing and Datin Patinggi Puan Sri Dr Yong Sau Kan.
At the start of the sitting, DUN Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar conveyed his condolences to the families of the two deceased figures.
Bo Tajang passed away on April 23, while Dr Yong died on April 25.
Meanwhile, Asfia also approved leave of absence for Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development Datuk Francis Harden Hollis and Dudong assemblyman Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing.
