SIBURAN: Kampung Peramas requires well-structured development planning as a newly established settlement, says Deputy Minister for Transport (Aviation and Road) Datuk Dr Jerip Susil.

He said five infrastructure projects have been successfully completed in the village so far.

“Five infrastructure development projects have been successfully implemented in Kampung Peramas, with a total cost of RM600,000, thereby improving basic facilities and the well-being of the villagers,” he said in an UKAS report during the 2026 Pre-Gawai Dinner organised by the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Kampung Peramas recently.

Dr Jerip, who is also Mambong assemblyman, said the next development project will be a multipurpose hall, which will provide facilities and comfort for villagers to interact and carry out community programmes.

Meanwhile, he said that the issuance of land titles to residents of Kampung Seratau and surrounding areas is scheduled for August 5.

He added that the initiative is expected to serve as a catalyst for economic development and the well-being of future generations.
