KUCHING: Senari Synergy Group continued its annual Aidiladha tradition by contributing six cows for qurban activities in six communities across Sarawak in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha.

The contributions were distributed to Kampung Salak, Kampung Haji Mahdi, Kampung Goebilt, Kampung Senari, Kampung Bako and Tanjung Manis on May 27 and 28.

The initiative forms part of the group’s ongoing commitment to community wellbeing and corporate social responsibility (CSR), while promoting the values of compassion, sacrifice and togetherness associated with the Aidiladha celebration.

Through the programme, residents and families in the participating communities are able to take part in the meaningful traditions of Aidiladha and share in the festive spirit.

Senari Synergy Group managing director Datuk Jefri Ahmad Tambi said the annual qurban programme remains one of the company’s key community outreach initiatives.

“The annual qurban programme is one of Senari Synergy Group’s community outreach initiatives and serves as a way for us to stay connected with the communities where we operate.

“May everything we do be accepted by Allah SWT. In this time of uncertainty, we must stand together, and nothing brings people together better than community events such as qurban.

“May we continue this tradition in the years to come, Insya-Allah,” he said in a statement.

Jefri also expressed his appreciation to all parties involved in ensuring the success of the programme.

“Senari Synergy remains committed to continuing the annual qurban initiative as part of its long-term CSR efforts while strengthening relationships with local communities through contributions that support community wellbeing and shared prosperity,” he added.
