KUCHING: Former students of Tanjong Lobang School and its successor institutions will have an opportunity to reconnect, reminisce and strengthen old friendships at a Reunion cum Fundraising Dinner scheduled for July 11 at Raia Hotel here.
Organised by the Ex-Students of Tanjong Lobang College Welfare Association, the event aims to bring together alumni from different generations while fostering stronger ties, networking opportunities and a renewed sense of community.
The gathering will also provide a platform for former students to celebrate their shared history, exchange life updates and reflect on their personal journeys since leaving the institution.
Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has agreed to grace the occasion, while several Sarawak Cabinet ministers are also expected to attend.
Adding to the excitement, attendees will stand a chance to win attractive lucky draw prizes, including a grand prize worth RM10,000 to be drawn by the Premier.
Other prizes valued between RM2,000 and RM9,000, as well as hampers, will also be up for grabs throughout the evening.
The organising committee is inviting all former students of Government Secondary School Miri, Tanjong Lobang School, Tanjong Lobang College and Kolej Tun Datuk Tuanku Haji Bujang to attend the reunion.
The event is not only intended to rekindle friendships but also to strengthen the alumni network and support the association’s welfare initiatives.
Tables are available for purchase under several categories, namely Bronze (RM2,000), Silver (RM3,000), Gold (RM5,000) and Platinum (RM10,000). However, all Bronze tables have already been sold out.
