KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Kamil Misuari, husband of Women, Family and Community Development Minister and Santubong Member of Parliament, Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, passed away earlier today.
The matter was confirmed in a statement issued by the Minister’s Office and the P193 Santubong Parliamentary Service Centre.
The late Kamil’s remains will be managed in Kuala Lumpur before being flown back to Kuching tomorrow (Friday, June 19).
His remains will be brought to Nancy’s official residence at Taman Serira, Jalan Menggeris in Petra Jaya, to allow family members and the public to pay their final respects before burial at the Samariang Islamic Cemetery.
The time for the final respects will be announced later.
The statement also called on the public to pray that Kamil’s soul be blessed and placed among the righteous.
