KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, paid their last respects to the late Datuk Kamil Musuari at his family residence here yesterday (June 19).
Kamil, the husband of Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, passed away on Thursday (June 18).
Wan Junaidi and Fauziah spent time with Nancy and her family members and conveyed their condolences.
Also present were Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and his daughter Dayang Nurjihan Abang Johari.
They were joined by Deputy Premiers Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian, state Cabinet ministers, assemblymen and community leaders.
Family members, friends, associates and well-wishers also gathered at the residence to pay their final respects to Kamil.
