SIBU: Junior Chamber International (JCI) Sibu successfully organised its ‘Game On! Board Game Gathering’ at Sibu Board Game Club here recently, bringing together members and guests for an afternoon of interactive learning, networking and fellowship.
The gathering, aimed to strengthen camaraderie and encourage meaningful connections among members, provided participants with an opportunity to step away from their daily routines and engage in a variety of board games that challenged their strategic thinking, communication skills, teamwork and decision-making abilities.
Laughter, friendly competition and spirited discussions filled the venue as attendees immersed themselves in games designed to promote collaboration and creativity.
Beyond entertainment, JCI Sibu’s President, Elden Lau, pointed out that the event served as a platform for members to build stronger relationships, expand their networks and foster a greater sense of belonging within the organisation.
“Through informal interactions and shared experiences, participants were able to deepen existing friendships while welcoming new faces into the JCI community.
“JCI Sibu emphasised that fellowship activities remain an important component of member engagement and organisational growth.

“By encouraging interaction beyond formal meetings and projects, the organisation continues to nurture a supportive culture that enhances collaboration and long-term member retention,” he said.
Lau expressed appreciation to all participants for their enthusiastic support and active involvement, which contributed to the success of the gathering.
