SEBUYAU: The opening of the Batang Lupar 1 Bridge has brought significant changes to daily life for residents in the coastal areas, with many welcoming the improved connectivity and easier access to surrounding towns.

Residents interviewed by Sarawak Tribune said the bridge had shortened travelling time, eased daily commutes and created new opportunities for local economic activities.

“I am proud to see the development taking place in Sarawak. Life today is much easier compared with the past because of the improved infrastructure and facilities provided by the Sarawak government.

“I believe these developments will continue to benefit future generations.”
