MATU: The Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Telok Deloh and Matu Hock Cheok Temple have received a total of RM10,000 in Minor Rural Project (MRP) grants to support community activities and local development initiatives.
The grants were presented by Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Integrity and Ombudsman) and Jemoreng assemblyman Datuk Dr Juanda Jaya during a ceremony here on Thursday (Jul 9).
Juanda said the allocation reflected the Sarawak government’s continued commitment to assisting community organisations in carrying out programmes that benefit the people.
He expressed hope that the recipients would make full use of the funds to implement their planned activities while strengthening unity among the local community.
He also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting community development initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being of residents in the Jemoreng constituency.
