AirBorneo chief executive officer Megat Ardian Aminuddin said the launch represented a significant step in the airline’s growth journey as it expanded Sarawak’s air connectivity beyond Malaysia for the first time.
“The launch of our Kuching Singapore service marks a significant step forward in AirBorneo’s growth journey, as we extend Sarawak’s air connectivity beyond Malaysia’s shores for the first time.
“Singapore is a vital regional and international hub, and this new route will create meaningful opportunities for trade, tourism and investment between Sarawak and the wider region.

The inaugural flight has been scheduled for July 22 to coincide with Hari Sarawak, reflecting the state’s ambitions to strengthen its aviation presence and regional connectivity.
