BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Brunei: Head of State, Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, attended the Audience and Investiture Ceremony held at the Balai Singgahsana Indera Buana, Istana Nurul Iman, today.
Their attendance at the ceremony reflected the close friendship and continued commitment of Sarawak and Brunei Darussalam in strengthening the longstanding diplomatic, cultural and strategic ties between the two sides.
Also accompanying Wan Junaidi was Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.
The ceremony was held in conjunction with the 80th birthday celebrations of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan of Brunei Darussalam.
During the event, Wan Junaidi and Fauziah had the opportunity to pay an audience and extend their congratulations to Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah as well as his wife, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha, on the occasion of the Sultan’s birthday celebration.
