KUCHING: Ibraco Bhd has strengthened its partnership with Hope Place by providing the non-governmental organisation (NGO) with a new vehicle.
Witnessed by representatives from Toyota, Hope Place and Ibraco, the brand new Toyota Hiace van was officially handed over during a ceremony on July 9 to support its humanitarian work across Sarawak.
The contribution marks the latest milestone in a partnership that began in 2017, with Ibraco continuing to support Hope Place’s mission of assisting underprivileged individuals and families throughout the state.
Over the past nine years, the property developer’s support has gone beyond financial assistance.
This includes complimentary office space for Hope Place’s administration at Tabuan Tranquility, the establishment of the Hope Place Charity Centre at TT3 Plaza, monthly donations, house repair assistance, contributions of essential food and daily necessities, as well as collaboration in the annual Charity Without Borders outreach programme.

According to Ibraco, the provision of the new vehicle will further strengthen Hope Place’s operations by improving its ability to deliver aid, conduct home visits and reach more beneficiaries efficiently across Sarawak.
“For nearly a decade, Hope Place has been making a remarkable difference in the lives of countless families. We are honoured to journey alongside them and hope this vehicle will help ease their daily operations, enabling them to reach even more people in need,” representative of Ibraco said at the handover ceremony.
“Building sustainable communities is not only about developing quality townships, but also about supporting organisations that improve the lives of those in need,” they added.
The latest contribution reflects Ibraco’s continued commitment to creating a positive social impact by supporting organisations that serve communities across Sarawak.
