BINTULU: A four-wheel drive was destroyed in a fire near Kemena Pacific Hospital along Jalan Tan Sri Ikhwan early this morning.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received an emergency call at 3.03 am and dispatched firefighters from Kidurong fire station to the scene.
Upon arrival, it said firefighters found the vehicle which was carrying two people, engulfed in flames.
It said that firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze and brought the situation under control. No injuries were reported but the vehicle was completely destroyed.
Once the firefighters secured the area and deemed it was safe, the operation concluded at 4.04 am.
