GEORGE TOWN, Penang: The Ministry of Education (MOE) is actively preparing for the implementation of the 2027 school curriculum, which will involve Year One and Form One pupils beginning next year.

Education Minister, Fadhlina Sidek, said preparations for the intake of Year One pupils were also being carried out at all levels, in line with the country’s education reform efforts guided by the Malaysia Education Blueprint (RPM) 2026-2035.

“The Malaysia Education Blueprint 2026-2035 serves as the strategic compass in our efforts to enhance the quality of the nation’s education,” she said in a Facebook post today.

Fadhlina said the MOE’s TEKAD Programme for the South Seberang Perai district, held on Saturday (July 25), served as a bridge connecting the ministry with the education community and the public.

According to her, the programme enables information on the ministry’s policies and initiatives to be conveyed directly, while fostering better public understanding.

She said the education reform agenda could only succeed through the comprehensive participation and support of all parties, who must move forward together as one team in building a better education ecosystem for Malaysian children. – BERNAMA
