KAPIT: Four men were injured following a two-vehicle collision along Jalan Ulu Sungai Kapit shortly after midnight today.
The accident, involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck, happened at around 12.05am. It was not known how many were on the motorcycle and in the vehicle.
All the victims sustained injuries. Two of the men were found unconscious when firefighters arrived at the scene.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firefighters from Kapit station stabilised the victims before providing initial treatment with the assistance of the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) unit.
The injured were later taken to Kapit Hospital for further treatment, with two transported by the EMRS unit and the other two by an ambulance.
The extent of their injuries has yet to be disclosed.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Once the situation was deemed safe, the team ended the operation at 12.35am.
