KUCHING: Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi has expressed his gratitude after being conferred the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP) award, which carries the title Dato’ Sri.

The honour was conferred in conjunction with the 67th birthday celebration of the Sultan of Pahang at Istana Abdulaziz in Kuantan, Pahang.

In a Facebook post, Nanta described the conferment as a great honour and a significant responsibility that he accepts with gratitude and humility.

“May this conferment inspire me to continue serving with unwavering commitment and integrity for the people and the nation,” he said.

Nanta also extended his birthday wishes to the Sultan of Pahang, praying that His Royal Highness would continue to be blessed with good health, a long life and divine guidance, and would continue to reign with wisdom for the prosperity and well-being of the state.

A total of 52 individuals received state honours, awards and medals at the investiture ceremony.
