MUKAH: Mukah will host the seventh edition of the Sarawakku Sayang (SKS) 2026 programme from Aug 28 to 30, with preparations now underway to ensure the event runs smoothly.
Deputy State Secretary (Operations) Datuk Hii Chang Kee conducted a site inspection at Dataran Pehin Setia Raja today to review preparations for the programme.
The visit was aimed at ensuring that the venue, facilities and logistical requirements are being prepared according to the planned arrangements and timeline.
The inspection covered the layout of exhibition areas, visitor movement routes and logistical requirements to ensure all facilities and infrastructure are ready ahead of the event.
Preparations for the arrival of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at the programme venue were also given attention during the inspection.
The visit involved the Mukah Divisional Administration, Public Works Department Sarawak (JKR), Ministry of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development (MYSED), as well as several other relevant departments and agencies.
