SIBU: Healthy living is shaped not only by how people respond to illness, but by the choices they make long before health problems arise.

That message took centre stage at the Cell Nutrition|Health Code 365 Sharing Session organised by Junior Chamber International Sibu (JCI Sibu) recently, bringing participants together for an open discussion on nutrition, cellular health and everyday wellness.

The session explored several aspects of health, including cellular nutrition, balanced nutrition, oxygen, detoxification and lifestyle habits, while encouraging participants to look more closely at how their daily routines can influence overall wellbeing.

Speaker Ping Chieh shared her knowledge and perspectives through an informal, conversational format, allowing participants to engage directly rather than simply listen to a conventional presentation.

Questions and exchanges throughout the session created a lively atmosphere, with participants given the opportunity to clarify issues, share views and consider practical approaches to maintaining healthier lifestyles.

The discussion also placed emphasis on the importance of developing greater awareness of nutrition and personal health, particularly as modern lifestyles can make it easy to overlook basic habits that contribute to long-term wellbeing.

JCI Sibu President Elden Lau thanked Ping Chieh for sharing her insights and knowledge, as well as participants for their active involvement in the session.

“Community-based knowledge-sharing programmes such as Health Code 365 provide an avenue for people to broaden their understanding of health while encouraging more informed choices in their daily lives.

“Through continued initiatives of this nature, JCI Sibu aims to promote a stronger culture of health awareness and encourage the community to view wellbeing as an ongoing responsibility rather than something addressed only when illness occurs,” he stressed.
