KUCHING: Once again, Hope Place has received generous contributions from local benefactors who called themselves Kelly Group.

Kelly Group leader Lau Hong Eng presented donations worth RM6,500 to Hope Place founder Kelvin Wan recently at Nanas Road here.

Kelly Group is no stranger to Hope Place as they are long-term donors and supporters of the non-governmental organisation (NGO).

Emphasising on young children and individuals with chronic illnesses, the group had donated children milk powder and adult diapers to the NGO this time around.

Kelly Group’s contribution includes 10 packets of children milk powder 0 – 12 months, 94 packets of children milk powder 1 – 3 years and 94 packets of children milk powder 4 -6 years. Apart from milk powder, they also gave 100 packs of adult diapers.

According to Wan, these diapers are only given to under served individuals either with disability or with chronic illnesses.

“We are truly grateful to benefactors like the Kelly Group here in Kuching, who are always supporting the under served community, regardless of background or creed.”

For more information, Hope Place or Persatuan Kebajikan Harapan Kuching (PKHK) can be reached at 082-505987 or 013-5672775.  All donations are welcome and receipts will be given upon request.
