MIRI: A formal cheque presentation ceremony took place on Tuesday evening, marking a significant contribution by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg to support the Kampung Muhibbah Ladang Tiga community.

The highlight of the event was the Premier’s donation of RM173,386.40 towards the purchase of a hearse van for the Nurul Yaqin Mosque Committee.

This generous gesture aims to enhance the mosque’s services for the local community.

In addition, the Premier allocated RM20,000 under the Minor Rural Project (MRP) initiative to the Nurul Yaqin Mosque Committee to support its activities and maintenance.

A further RM2,000 from the MRP was directed to the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Kampung Muhibbah Ladang Tiga to assist with community development efforts.

The contributions were officially handed over by Deputy Minister of Women, Childhood and Community Development Datuk Rosey Yunus, during the ceremony.

These funds are expected to greatly benefit the village and its residents by improving facilities and strengthening community support systems.
