LIMBANG: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg drew a strong community turnout as he led a 3.5-kilometre brisk walk along the Limbang Waterfront here early this morning (Apr 11), underscoring efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle while engaging with the public.
The programme, which began at 6.30 am, also saw the participation of Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, with participants taking a scenic route from the Limbang Waterfront to the Limbang Museum.
During the walk, Abang Johari took the opportunity to interact with residents and visitors who had gathered for recreational activities in the area.
The event concluded with a breakfast session at the Limbang Tamu Market.
Also in attendance were Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Hasbi Habibollah, and Deputy Minister of Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development, Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail, along with other dignitaries.
