MIRI: A cat was missing from a home in Senadin on Friday, prompting the owner to mount a search for the missing feline.
The owner was about to give up on the search until she heard a muffled meow around the residential area on that Friday night.
The cat was eventually found trapped inside a monsoon drain nearby the house and the Miri Civil Defence force (APM) were called for help.
Upon responding to the alert at 9.16pm, a team of three personnel from APM were despatch to help rescue the cat, which took them less than 10 minutes.
