KUCHING: The Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) has successfully concluded its much-anticipated Juh Sungkei di BCCK 2025, further strengthening its renowned must-go buffet for iftar in Kuching with affordable prices and memorable dining experiences.

Chief operating officer Rayner Simon said over 56,000 diners from all walks of life – came together to break fast, sharing meaningful moments that celebrated the essence of togetherness and gratitude during Ramadan.

“Juh Sungkei di BCCK has grown into a cherished tradition for many in Kuching, creating a space for families, friends and communities to gather and connect during the holy month of Ramadan.

“The dedication of BCCK’s team ensured that each guest experienced an atmosphere of warmth, unity and heartfelt hospitality, making each visit a memorable one.

“This year’s Ramadan buffet was truly a heartwarming and unforgettable experience for both our guests and the entire BCCK team.

“Seeing families, friends, and communities come together to share meals and create lasting memories is what makes Juh Sungkei so special. We sincerely thank everyone who joined us and look forward to continuing this tradition in the coming years.”

Staying true to BCCK’s commitment to giving back, he added that this year’s Juh Sungkei embraced a meaningful charitable initiative by delivering iftar meals and special contributions to the children of Rumah Kanak-Kanak Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah at 12th Mile, ensuring they, too, could partake in the joy of Ramadan.

“Among the heartwarming stories this season was the fulfilment of a young girl’s wish to break fast at the Juh Sungkei buffet with her father. Coming from a modest background, she had often heard about the grand Ramadan feast at BCCK but never imagined she would have the opportunity to experience it herself.

“When BCCK learned of her story, the team arranged for her and her father to join the buffet as special guests. It was a moment of love, connection and cherished memories – a reminder to the BCCK team of why they strive to create experiences that go beyond dining and touch the heart,” he added.

On another note, reflecting on the efforts behind this successful season, Rizal Yaman, director of HR at BCCK, extend his deepest appreciation to our hardworking operations and administrative teams.

“Their dedication and tireless efforts have truly made a difference, ensuring that each guest experiences the warmth and hospitality BCCK is known for.

“Juh Sungkei di BCCK continues to be not only a culinary delight but also one of the most affordable and beloved Iftar destinations in Kuching,” he added.

BCCK extend their heartfelt gratitude to all their guests who made Juh Sungkei di BCCK 2025 an unforgettable experience. Each shared meal, every heartfelt smile, and the joyous moments created at their buffet embodied the spirit of Ramadan—compassion, generosity, and unity.

The warmth and feedback from patrons inspire BCCK to continuously enhance their offerings, ensuring that each visit is as welcoming and memorable as the last.
