KUCHING: The Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) plans to publish a coffee table book documenting the life journey of Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.
The proposal was shared during a courtesy call by Bernama’s top management, led by chairman Datuk Wong Chun Wai and chief executive officer Datin Paduka Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin, at the Astana Negeri Sarawak, here today (May 5).
During the meeting, Wan Junaidi also presented several books he has authored. Among them is the third edition of Evolusi Parlimen dan Evolusi Speaker Parlimen Malaysia, published by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka.
Another notable title, The 365 Days in Astana: Kisah dan Potret Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, goes beyond a photo collection, offering a narrative that reflects his responsibilities, values and dedication throughout his tenure.
He also authored A Policeman, which recounts his experiences undertaking high-risk operations against the North Kalimantan Communist Party in Miri, Sibu and Kapit during his service with the Police Field Force, highlighting his patriotism during challenging times.
The courtesy call was also attended by Bernama editor-in-chief Arul Rajoo Durar Raj.
