BINTULU: Police here are conducting patrols and monitoring houses of worship such as mosques, churches and temples.
This is part of an effort to prevent crime occurring in these locations and their surrounding areas.
At the same time, this serves to strengthen the cooperation and ties between the police and the communities in the fight against crime.
Police also reminded the public visiting houses of worship to be vigilant of Covid-19 transmission and to adhere to standard operating procedures at all times.
