MIRI: Seventy-eight people successfully donated their blood during a campaign held in conjunction with Malaysia Day held at Emart Riam here yesterday.
The blood donation campaign registered 100 potential donors. Fourteen of them were new donors.
The event was jointly organised by Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Blood Donor Recruitment Committee Miri District, Rotary Club Miri Oil Town, Persatuan Wanita Petroluem Miri and Moving Communities Team.
A similar campaign will be held on October 20 from 9am to 12pm at Boulevard Shopping Complex here in conjunction with United Nations Day.
The organisers urged eligible blood donors to donate to a good cause.
