KUCHING: The Malaysian Red Crescent and SJK Chung Hua No. 5 Kuching will organise a two-day Blood Donation Campaign 2026 in conjunction with the Wesak Day celebration later this month.
The campaign aims to encourage public participation in humanitarian efforts while helping to prevent blood shortages at local blood banks.
The first session will be held on May 30 from 9 am to 2 pm at the EMart Batu Kawa Moyan Branch, while the second session will take place on May 31 from 9 am to 2 pm at the Kuching Tze Yin Buddhist Orthodox Association, along Jalan Sherip Masahor here.
Organisers said the public is encouraged to take part in the campaign as every blood donation could help save lives and support patients in need of urgent transfusions.
Goodie bags will also be presented to successful donors as a token of appreciation for their contribution.
Members of the public seeking further information may contact Wendy at 019 818 2244.
