KUCHING: Sarawak alternative rock band Bunch of People (BOP) has released its latest single, Life Circle, a song inspired by themes of resilience, personal growth and renewal.
The track debuted on major digital streaming platforms on May 30 in conjunction with Mental Health Awareness Month.
In a statement today (June 2), the band described Life Circle as a reflection on the experiences that shape people’s lives and the recurring cycles of growth, setbacks, hope and new beginnings.
“Life Circle is about recognising the cycles that connect us all and understanding that every ending can become a new beginning,” BOP said in a press statement today (June 2).
Driven by energetic guitar arrangements, heartfelt melodies and reflective lyrics, the song encourages listeners to embrace change and learn from life’s challenges.
Lyricist Adli said the inspiration came from observing how people from different backgrounds often go through similar experiences throughout their lives.
“Experiences of growth, loss, hope and renewal remain universal, shaping perspectives and influencing how individuals navigate challenges, he added.
Although not originally written as a mental health awareness song, BOP said the message behind Life Circle naturally aligns with themes of emotional resilience, self-reflection and personal well-being.
To coincide with the release, the band will premiere a lyric video on its official YouTube channel on June 27.
Life Circle is available on major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Deezer and Amazon Music.
