PUTRAJAYA: The monthly fuel quota under the BUDI95 programme is set to remain at 200 litres for eligible recipients.
The Ministry of Finance (MOF) explained that some users may have seen a monthly quota display of 150 litres during system maintenance carried out at 11 pm on May 31.
“The display was caused by a technical error in the BUDI95 system, which has since been identified and rectified. The monthly BUDI95 quota remains at 200 litres per month for eligible users, including for June 2026,” the ministry said in a statement yesterday (June 1).
It stressed that no changes have been made to the monthly BUDI95 allocation and urged recipients not to be concerned by the temporary display issue.
The ministry also said iit would continue to ensure the smooth, transparent and orderly implementation of the BUDI95 programme to safeguard public interests and ensure targeted fuel subsidies reach eligible recipients.
“We regret any confusion caused by the technical glitch,” the ministry said.
