KUCHING: Chung Hua Middle School No. 1 (CHMS1) yesterday received a joint donation from five Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) political secretaries to the Chief Minister, namely Michael Tiang, Soo Li Ching, Teng Ung Woo, Tan Kai and Daniel Bujal.
The donation aimed to provide aid for rebuilding costs after three classrooms of CHMS1 were destroyed in a fire recently.
Tan Kai handed over the cheque donation to CHMS1 principal Yap Chong Guan.
Also present to witness the handover were Sarawak Federation of Chinese Associations president Datuk Richard Wee, Temenggong Tan Joo Phoi and school board members.
