BINTULU: A 25-year-old man walked away unharmed after an Audi that he was in crashed and rammed into a lamp post early this morning (Friday).
The accident occurred at 4.45am in the vicinity of the Bintulu Civic Centre along Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi here.
Sarawak Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu said the car was heading towards the town centre from Medan Jaya when the accident occurred.
“The car went out of control and crashed onto the lamp post,” he said when contacted yesterday.
Supt Alexson said the car burst into flames on impact but that the driver emerged from the wreckage unharmed.
