SIBU: A van carrying six people skidded and fell off the road shoulder near Bulatan Peradom here yesterday (Nov 27).
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said a call was received at 7.54 pm and a team from BBP Sibu Sentral arrived at the scene at 8.16 pm.
The incident involved a single vehicle, with all six victims — five adult males and a child — managing to exit the van on their own.
The child sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by Health Ministry personnel for further treatment.
Bomba said no rescue operation was required as the victims were not trapped.
