KUCHING: The Bintulu Netball Open Championship 2024 concluded with Cinnamon 2.0 crowned champions.
The championship wrapped up successfully on Nov 24, with 16 teams competing over two action-packed days at Stadium Muhibbah in Bintulu.
Cinnamon 2.0 claimed the coveted champion’s title, defeating their opponents to secure a dominant victory.
The team’s exceptional performance earned them RM1,000 in prize money.
Meanwhile, Squadgoal finished as first runner-up, taking home RM700, while Hotshot was awarded second runner-up with a cash prize of RM400.


In the individual awards, the Best Attacker title went to Noor Haidayu Hasmira Hasbullah from Squadgoal, who received RM50 and a trophy. Mitchellevie Vinus of Cinnamon 2.0 was named Best Player, while Serreny Nasib@Antan, also from Cinnamon 2.0, was recognised as the Best Defender.
The championship showcased a high level of competition and sportsmanship, drawing spectators and teams from across the region.
The tournament was organised by the Bintulu Netball Association, bringing together top teams for an exciting display of skill and camaraderie.
