MUKAH: Community leaders in Mukah and Dalat districts will meet at a hotel here on Oct 28 to oppose the formation of village community management council (MPKK).
The chief of the community leaders, Temenggong Hendi Suhai, said the meeting will begin at 9am.
“It will be a brief meeting which will be followed by a press conference,” he said yesterday.
“Community leaders in other divisions have organised similar gatherings, so this coming Monday Oct 28 will be our turn,” he told New Sarawak Tribune here on Thursday.
Hendi, a former headmaster, said he had sent out notice of the meeting through WhatsApp.
