KUCHING: Serba Dinamik Sdn Bhd (SDSB) continues to hand out daily essential items to its employee’s especially daily paid workers adversely affected by the pandemic.

It has been doing this since last month in Bintulu under its Food Basket Programme.

SDSB said that in view of the seriousness of the current Covid-19 situation in Bintulu, they decided to distribute food baskets to their employees including those under quarantine.

The food baskets are filled with daily essentials such as rice, eggs, sugar, salt, sauce, ketchup, tea, coffee, crackers, tins food, noodles, hand sanitiser, face mask, toothpaste, soap, cooking oil and others.

To date, more than 200 such baskets have been given to SDSB employees who are mostly impacted by the pandemic and the movement control order (MCO).

SDSB said its Care Team will continuously gather information on its employees who are residing in locked down areas.

The management added that the Food Basket Programme aims to assist SDSB workers in order to reduce their financial burden and also to improve their quality of life.
