KUCHING: Cuepacs Sarawak has held its first meeting for the newly elected 2025–2028 committee at Rumah Cuepacs Negeri here to confirm appointments and plan the union’s annual activities.
During the meeting, its chairman Kullin Djayang reminded all members that every position carries important responsibilities and must be held with integrity and accountability.
He also stressed that all matters and decisions should be made collectively to ensure transparency and unity within the organization.
Kullin expressed his appreciation to all delegates who attended this year’s Triennial Delegates Conference (TDC) and assured that the newly elected leadership will continue to work diligently to represent and champion the voices of all affiliated unions without prejudice.
The new leadership team, elected during the state TDC held in Sri Aman recently, is led by Kullin, Omar Baheri Unin as deputy chairman, and Patra Ramli as vice chairman.
The position of secretary is held by Ahmad Zamri Wariimin, assisted by Chung Fui San as assistant secretary. Meanwhile, Othman Mohamad Suhaili serves as treasurer, and Suraiya Mohd Latif as assistant treasurer.
In addition, Jimmy Chong Kok Kiong has been appointed as education officer, Rozni Abdul Aziz as head of the Women’s bureau, and Lazarus Kuming as head of the Youth bureau.
For the record, Cuepacs Sarawak comprises 17 affiliated unions, representing public sector employees serving throughout the state.
