DALAT: The number of flood victims evacuated to the Stadium Perpaduan Dalat temporary evacuation centre (PPS) has increased to 78 people as of today.
Dalat Civil Defence Force Officer, Junior Lieutenant (PA) Muhammad Helmi Halim, said that all the victims are from 20 families.
“Yesterday (Monday), the victims were from three villages, and today (Feb 4) there are a total of six villages.
“There are more victims from Kampung Sua, Kampung Klid, and Kampung Narub,” he told Suara Sarawak.
Helmi said his team is closely monitoring the villages affected by the floods and that the villagers are advised to remain vigilant about the water conditions.
