KUCHING: The Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) has introduced a new initiative to send reminder messages via WhatsApp to individuals who have been issued compounds, in an effort to prompt timely payments before legal action is taken.
According to DBKU, reminder messages will be sent through its official WhatsApp number +6012-2377144.
“Payments can be made online through DBKU’s official website eService@KU, as stated in the message.
“The initiative is part of DBKU’s ongoing digitalisation efforts to enhance service delivery and improve communication with the public in Kuching North,” DBKU said in its statement.
In addition to receiving WhatsApp notifications, the public can also check and make payments at DBKU payment counters in Satok and DBKU@Depo, or online via eService@KU https://bit.ly/3Y3KJTc.
DBKU reminded the public to settle their parking compounds promptly to avoid legal action.
For enquiries, the public can contact DBKU’s Compound Unit at 082-495 035 or email unitkompaun@dbku.gov.my.
