PUTRAJAYA: Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) was awarded the Gold Class 1 Award for ‘Very Good OSH Performance in 2024’ at the 43rd Malaysia Society for Occupational Safety and Health (MSOSH) Awards 2025 held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) today.

In a Facebook statement, DBKU said the award recognised the council’s continuous commitment to implementing strong occupational safety and health (OSH) practices in the workplace.

It added that the recognition also reflected DBKU’s on-going efforts to ensure a safe, healthy and productive working environment for all its staff.

“This achievement serves as a motivation for DBKU to further strengthen its safety culture, enhance OSHC awareness and expand safety and health initiatives across all levels of the organisation,” DBKU said.

Since its introduction in 1982, the MSOSH Awards have been a key national platform for recognising organisations that demonstrate excellence in OSH management.

DBKU reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining this standard of excellence across its operations, in line with its vision of building a safe, beautiful and liveable city.
