KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud yesterday received a courtesy call from Dewan Bahasa and Pustaka (DBP) director-general Datuk Abang Sallehuddin Abang Shokeran at Demak Jaya here.
The visit was to invite His Excellency to the state-level TYT Cup Youth Forum Competition in June.
It was Sallehuddin’s first courtesy visit to Taib since he was appointed DBP director-general in January this year.
Also present during the visit was DBP Sarawak branch acting director Haliza Jamaluddin.
