JULAU: A local man sustained injuries after his car skidded out of control and collided with a bus along Jalan Babai, Pakan yesterday (Apr 19).
The accident happened at around 6.20pm when the 55-year-old gardener had been travelling from Sibu towards Pakan.
Julau police chief DSP Alif Haiqal Ramesh Abdullah said the victim’s vehicle is believed to have veered out of control and crashed into the bus in the opposite lane.
Fortunately, the victim escaped with only minor injuries and was taken to Pakan health clinic for further treatment.
Alif said the bus driver and passengers were unhurt.
The case is being investigated under Rule 10 LN 166/59.
