LIMBANG: A 25-year-old man sustained serious injuries after his four-wheel-drive vehicle crashed near SMK Medamit here this morning.
The man was found trapped in his seat but still conscious when personnel from the Limbang Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the scene following a distress call at 10:26 am.
Firefighters used special Road Traffic Accident (RTA) equipment to extricate the man before handing him over to medical personnel for further treatment.
The operation was brought under control at 11:20 am, and the team returned to the station once the situation was deemed safe.
Earlier, personnel had travelled about 37 kilometres from the station to reach the scene.
