BAU: Police have arrested two men allegedly involved in drug abuse activities during a patrol in a village.
According to Bau district police chief Supt Haide A Rahman, the arrests were made on May 14 at around 4.30pm by the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID).
“While at Kampung Serikin, a team from the NCID, together with police personnel, apprehended two men aged between 29 and 34 who are believed to be involved in drug abuse activities.
“The team conducted further inspections and urine screening tests on both suspects. Both tested positive for drugs,” he said.
Both suspects are being investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
