KUCHING: The Dayak Bidayuh Nasional Association (DBNA), in collaboration with Blessed Sacrament Church and Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, will organise an e-Waste Collection Day on July 25.
Members of the public are encouraged to support the initiative by bringing their unwanted electronic waste for recycling in exchange for instant cash payments.
The collection drive will be held from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon at the DBNA headquarters compound, Jalan Kumpang, off Jalan Ong Tiang Swee, here.
Accepted items include laptops, desktop computers and CPUs; smartphones, tablets and cameras; televisions and projectors; printers, scanners and keyboards; washing machines and refrigerators; as well as other small household electronic appliances.
