KUCHING: A fire in the wee hours of this morning destroyed a car that was parked in front of a coffee shop at Mile 7, Jalan Kuching-Serian
According to a spokesman from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), they received a distress call regarding the incident around 2.10am.
Firemen from the Batu Lintang station were promptly despatched to the scene.
Upon arriving, the team found the car had already caught fire, and they started extinguishing it.
No injuries or casualties were reported in the early-morning fiery incident.
The extinguishing operation wrapped up at 2.55am, and the cause of the incident is still under investigation.
