KUCHING: The launch and inauguration ceremony of the Conducive Ecosystem in the Public Sector (EKSA) at the Sarawak State Library marks the beginning of efforts and signifies the support and commitment of the top management and staff of the library.
The event was officiated by chief executive officer Japri Bujang Masli on June 7 this year and held at the auditorium of the Sarawak State Library here.
“Also launched was the EKSA guideline book for the Sarawak State Library, aimed at guiding the staff in implementing EKSA to create a comfortable, conducive, and safe working environment,” said a press release issued today (June 12).
The implementation of EKSA at the Sarawak State Library is in response to the challenge following the directive from the Sarawak State Secretary in the Sarawak Public Service Transformation and Innovation Circular No. 4 of 2023, which mandates all Sarawak Government agencies to fully implement EKSA starting from the last quarter of 2023.
In the effort to cultivate and maintain a quality and conducive environment, it certainly requires strong spirit and high commitment among the library staff, along with the cooperation of the public to elevate this practice to a higher level of excellence day by day.
