Miri APM officer Captain (PA) Usman Harto, in a statement, said they received a distress call from the hospital around 12.30 pm and deployed a team to a house at Jalan Permai, Bandar Baru Permyjaya.
Upon arriving, the team met with the 37-year-old complainant who informed that his mother was complaining of shortness of breath.
The team quickly secured the 76-year-old woman on a stretcher to be taken to Miri Hospital via the APM ambulance.
After arriving at the hospital at 1.30 pm, the hospital staff took over the case and brought the elderly patient for further treatment.
