BINTULU: The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) Bintulu has assured that supply of essential goods during the movement control order (MCO) period is sufficient.
Its local chief Nazari Hassan said KPDNHEP Bintulu would monitor and ensure that supplies of sugar, cooking oil, wheat flour, canned food, petrol and diesel as well as other packaged goods are adequate throughout the MCO period.
“So far, we have not received any complaints regarding insufficient daily necessities.
“Only recently, the supply of face masks and hand sanitisers has decreased,” he said when met here yesterday.
Nazari also advised members of the public not to make panic purchases during the MCO period.
