MIRI: Firefighters quickly cleared a fallen tree that was blocking a road in Tudan, here this afternoon.
The Lutong Fire and Rescue Station received a distress call at 3.21 pm about a tree blocking Jalan Seroja 1. A team of eight firefighters was immediately dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, the team found that the fallen tree was completely blocking the road.
Firefighters used chainsaws to cut up the tree and clear away the branches.
By 3.45 pm, the road was fully cleared and safe for drivers again. The team left the scene a minute later. No injuries were reported, and no other emergency agencies were needed.
