LAWAS: A fire destroyed an abandoned building at SMK Terusan here this morning.
A team of firemen from Lawas fire station rushed to the scene immediately after receiving an alert on the incident at 7.48am.
The 20 x 160 sq feet structure was already destroyed when the firemen arrived.
The fire was contained around 12.34pm.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire. No injuries or fatalities were reported.
